NEACCE Executive of the Year Award

A complete written report, no more than one additional typed page, can include the following information along with two (2) letters of recommendation (max).


1.      The nominee must be a member in good standing of the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (NEACCE) for a minimum of three (3) years.

2.      The nominee has supported NEACCE through service on the Board of Directors, attendance at conferences, and/or service on its committees.

3.      The nominee has demonstrated professional management of a New England Chamber of Commerce’s programs and finances (include major accomplishments, history).

4.      The nominee has mentored peers and staff members to assist them in achieving their goals.

5.      The nominee promotes collaboration.  Provide examples of partnerships that exemplify the chamber mission to bring together many sectors of the community for a common goal.

6.      Identify what the nominee has done to overcome challenges within the organization or within the community.

7.      Submit a photo of the nominee via e-mail.

8.      Number of years nominee has been employed within a Chamber of Commerce.

9.      Number of years employed as the Chief Executive Officer.

RULES:

 

To be eligible, nominee must be a paid chief executive officer of a chamber.

 

The nomination must be submitted by a person who is knowledgeable of the nominee (i.e., co-worker, board member, key volunteer).

 

The information supplied and discussions by the Selection Committee will remain confidential.

 

The recommendation for the award shall be confirmed by the NEACCE Board of Directors.

 

The recipient shall be notified and invited to the presentation ceremony.  Nominee must be in attendance at the annual meeting to receive the award.

 

A Press Release with photo of presentation will be distributed to the media and placed on NEACCE’s website.
