The award-winning documentary, My Perestroika, follows five ordinary Russians from their sheltered Soviet childhoods, through the collapse of the Soviet Union, to the constantly shifting political landscape of post-Soviet Russia. Join us at the historic Strand Theatre in Clinton for a showing of this film and a discussion with the Academy Award-winning director Robin Hessman. Robin will outline the historical framework of the Perestroika period, talk about the making of the film, and lead a Q&A discussion.
